The bible tell us in the book of Matthew that an angel appeared before Joseph and said do not be afraid as Mary your wife,what she has conceived in her is of the Holyspirit. Our lord christ Jesus,humbled himself and came to live on earth on a mission to save his people from their sins.As our lord Jesus was about to ascend to heaven he promised us that he shall live us with the holyspirit which shall be our counselor.Brethren the Holyspirit is available to us as God,s children to seek advices on our daily decisions and major decisions that affect our future.Going to the word,John 14:15-20..."If you love me,you will obey what I command.16,And i will ask the father,and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever-17; The spirit of truth.The world cannot accept him,because it neither sees him nor knows him.But you know him,for he lives with you and he will be in you.vr 18, I will not leave you as orphans;I will come to you.19, Before long,the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me.Because I live,you will also live.20, On that day you will realize that I am in my father,and you are in me, and I am in you.
Brethren we are not alone,neither friendless,as the Holyspirit-the counselor- is there to give us wisdom of not moving in the sinful nature but seeking to be controlled by the Holyspirit for us to be able to live victorious christian lives which will bring honour and glory to the king of kings-christ Jesus.Can you ask yourself a question?What has been driving or influencing my lifestyle?Was it because of the worldly influence or from the holyspirit which never condemns but convicts us to come to a closer walk or relationship with Jesus.We are so blessed as the lord has not left us nor forsaked us,but he is just longing to see his children calling on the Holyspirit & say we cannot do it on our own wisdom nor knowledge...but we just need the holyspirit for us to have joy,peace,hope to live on these earth.
Lets look to John 16:13; "But when he,the Spirit of truth,comes, he will guide you into all truth.He shall not speak on his own;he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Are you in a desperate situation?hopeless?about to make a major decision?choosing a career?Its not about what we want but its what he knows its best for us...he said in his word that many are the plans in a man,s heart but only God,s purposes will prevail.Brethren just want to encourage you that seeking to be led by the holyspirit will help you to live a life that is in accordance with God,s will and plans and purposes for our lives...He,s calling to your situation now..he says my child you have been going there and there you did not get the answer but through the Holyspirit you shall live a life that shall glorify Jesus & exalt his holy name...
