I believe, as we, people of God, join hearts in committing these prayers unto God, there is power & God's work will be done.
Through prayer we work with Him in defeating the powers of evil and in bringing about the fulfillment of His loving purposes in the world. Partners with God—what a privilege! What an incentive to pray! —Herb Vander Lugt
prayer items....
1. Lent Season - for all of us to take the effort & opportunity to share God's love to our friends around us, to be sensitive to His Spirit in leading us in speaking forth His Word.
- for us to take the time to meditate on the meaning of Good Friday & Easter .
2. FES & other colleges CF - for God to continue to sustain FES in every way & use them to help the various CFs around.
- all CFs to always have the vision to reach out to students in their campuses & to work with God hand in hand.
3. Those who are sick & needs recovery physically - Pearl who was admitted due to dengue & Rachel's dad who met an accident 2 weeks ago. Pray for quick recovery.
4. College - Lecturers, staffs & students. Smooth administration, right motives & full dedication in serving the college.
- all to be opened to the sharing of the Gospel. Rebuke any spirits of doubt, unbelief & all other that are not of God among the lecturers, staffs & students.
5. ICF members & committee - all will be united in purpose & in spirit.
- a place for the hopeless to find hope in Him, the lost to be found in Him, the broken to be made
-whole in Him, the outcasts to be accepted, etc.
- committee members to always burn for God & work in the ways of God as they listen carefully to Him.
6. EVERYONE'S SPIRITUAL HEALTH - for God to shake those who have been in slumber.
- for the dehydrated to be filled with God's power & spirit once more
- for all to work in His will & obey His Word
- for all to always put God first in everything that they do.
- to always hunger & thirst for God
7. Good Friday ICF Program - all members to start inviting pre-believers for this activity
- for God to be clearly revealed & the message be well conveyed on that day to everyone.
- for His Spirit to move mightily among the people.
- to open up the spiritual eyes of the pre-believers in seeing who Jesus is as a God.
- for salvation among the pre-believers, for boldness in making decision on giving their lives to Jesus.
8. MALAYSIA & churches in Malaysia (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - claim that Malaysia belongs to Jesus.
- for righteousness to rule in this land
- that it will be truly a free country that allows full freedom in choosing religion among all citizens regardless of race.
- pray against the work of the evil ones, the evil forces from Satan.
- that His Kingdom comes, His Will be done.
- churches to wake up from slumberness & work towards in becoming the church that God would desire; revival & awakening in the churches of Malaysia.
- unity among all churches, to break down the walls between churches.
- God & God alone be glorified & lifted high in the church.
